ConnectionCatalyst™ Conversation Card Deck : JUDGMENT
Welcome to ConnectionCatalyst™ Conversation Card Decks!
Topic: JUDGMENT
The purpose of these questions is to help you as an individual and/or your community; home, social, or workplace take a deep dive on the topic of judgments.
I invite you to explore all sides of judgment, whether you look at someone and judge that they are lazy or you look at someone and judge that they are highly functioning. It is important to understand that judgments come in all shapes and sizes and can have an unintended impact.
The idea with these cards is not to judge yourself or anyone else for judging. Judging is a normal human behavior. These cards are meant to help you pay more attention to how you judge, why you judge, when you judge, and what you do with those judgments as well as connect with others around their experiences with judgment. As a result, the actions you take and decisions you make will be less about the judgments and assumptions but rather made with intentional empathy because you’ve taken the time to understand the entire situation, person, or challenge.
These questions spread across the following themes: self-reflection, relationships, conflict, societal perspectives, workplace dynamics, and empathy-building. I look forward to reading about your success!
