IDEAB* Training Programs

Empathy and EQ are cornerstones of inclusion. In addition to providing this baseline foundation and supporting a more positive culture, CEEQ offers client specific training to support individuals exploring active participation, power & privilege, multicultural environments, and more.

We can structure this as individual trainings, which are largely to sensitize and educate bit not seen as a long term remedy. Or we can design a program that helps create sustainable shift in the workplace culture towards inclusion of all differences - thus recognizing the inherent challenges and tensions these differences create and offering proactive means to facilitate that tension to develop a creative and inclusive workplace.

Coaching: 1:1 and Team

In addition to the trainings and practice within a large group, we offer team and individual coaching.

Working with an external coach has the benefits of providing an objective and neutral party. As such, a co-creation, with the organization and its members, can occur to develop their specific skills and explore their challenges while using proven techniques to teach new approaches to solving these challenges in meaningful and creative ways. Group coaching offers the same structure within a unit to advance unit goals.

    Foundations

    This three-part foundational series grounds participants in empathy, emotional intelligence, and emotional management, a key component of sustainability.

    The series consists of classes and practice sessions. The classes establish a common vocabulary base-line, why it matters in the workplace, and how it might show up for each individual.

    The practice sessions are designed to provide a space where participants may reflect and share how they have implemented or will implement concepts learned in class.

    Personal Frameworks

    Building on the foundation work, participants will now develop personal best practices, norms, and processes that establish habits out of the tools from foundations.

    Using facilitated dialogue for reflection and an agile approach, we encourage participants to find what works for them, explore their triggers and seek opportunities to refine their approach and self-care to ensure a true behavior shift.

    By maintaining a rhythm of reflection we offer the space for self-maintenance, while also providing concrete ideas and helping to normalize the iterative process required to establish and maintain new habits.

    Building an Institutional Culture

    This series focuses on key areas catered to your specific organizational concerns and helps units establish broader norms for the organization. Examples might be: crisis communications, onboarding, managing employees.

    This could involve continuing the practices from Phase 2: Personal Framework but iterating based off of one another’s experiences or support units to develop testable hypotheses that they deploy within their departments. By comparing results, they will establish new ways of doing and being that will be consistent across the organization, elevating relationships and enhancing connection as a matter of course.
